Research Significance
Project Aim
Our project has three focuses. It will focus on the language attitudes of the young generation
towards Chiu Chow variety and its culture. The respondents' identity perception and their language(s) choices will be of our interest as well. Also, it will look into their concept of passing their language and culture on the next generations. Moreover, it will try to evaluate people's participation in events organised by CC organisations and the effectiveness of the cultural events to evaluate the language and culture sustainability.
